We travel to area farms to train workers (through English as a Second Language classes, and in job training programs). We also advocate for workers to organize themselves to protect their rights under OSHA.

We partner with the United Food & Commercial Workers union to organize Latinx workers, providing critical services like transportation to health clinics, translation between farmers and farm workers, assisting undocumented workers to apply for driver’s licenses, helping workers initiate the workers’ compensation process, and connecting workers with trusted medical providers.

The Rapid Response team can help inform the community of how to respond to ICE raids and ways to protect the most vulnerable.
