Prevent Workplace Fatalities
Take action to reduce risks for you and other workers in your area. Each year thousands of workers experience a workplace injury or event death. Many times these are accidents that could’ve been prevented.

Form a Health & Safety Committee with Coworkers
The New York State HERO Act established expanded protection for people who organize worker-led health and safety labor-management committees. If you work for an employer with ten or more employees, this includes the right to one four-hour training per year without loss of pay — in other words, paid training. MCOSH offers free training on how to get started for workers interested in forming a health and safety committee, as well as support and education to already-established committees. Share your story in the National WORKEDUP! Campaign
Have you ever felt unsafe at work? Were you ever asked to work extra hours off the clock? You are not alone. Countless people grapple with exploitation at work every day. You don’t have to live with these experiences in silence. Join the dozens of other workers across the country who have shared their stories through the #WorkedUp campaign.
Francisco Hernández tells COSH Affiliate Fe y Justicia Worker Center about his experience with heat illness and he urges workers to be careful when working in extreme heat.
One way you can support workers like Francisco is to sign our petition to support the proposed OSHA Heat Standard which will require that employers provide protection for outdoor and indoor workers when they are working in extreme temperatures.
Support MCOSH’s Mission

Workers’ rights and safety are under attack like never before. With your help, MCOSH can continue the fight to empower workers with education and support to become the organizers and leaders we need in this moment! Donate to support the MCOSH mission!
